Bienestar’s annual UNIDOS event, on World AIDS Day, serves to remember and honor friends, family, and community lost to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the critical work community-based organizations have conducted for the past 30+ years in the face of systemic medical inequity. This event seeks to promote awareness, reduce HIV/AIDS stigma, offer linkage to care, prevention tools and education as well as on-site rapid HIV testing.
